Blog commenting can help your blog in 3 ways:
1. Exposure = Traffic
It helps you get your blog noticed by readers of these blogs. This can lead to readers visiting your blog from those blogs. This is one way to get targeted readers to your blog. It’s likely that they are interested in the topic at hand. All you need to do is to draw them to your website. Although it might seem harder than it is, you can still gain lots of traffic this way.
Your comments should be valuable. You will only attract readers to your website. Writing “nice post” and “thanks” comments will not attract readers. If you write real content, readers will notice you – whether it’s through future comments or by the bestforblogger.com You might get a reader from the blogger who might then start to read your blog. If you have good content, you may also earn a backlink which could prove valuable.
2. Backlinks are a great way to increase your website’s search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine rankings. What kind of backlinks is valuable? It is important to only link to sites with relevant content that you can use. These sites are easy for bloggers to find. It’s the blogs that are popular in their niches that do well.
Nofollow blogs can be a problem because your comments won’t help you with backlinks. You can search for “dofollow SEO engine” and other similar terms to find a list of dofollow blogs. There are very few dofollow blogs because they attract spammers who only care about the backlinks. You must not appear spammy in your comments. Include real content, which is possible if the author has read and is knowledgeable about the topic. You can contribute to others if they are interested.
3. Your blog can be an authority point: How come some bloggers have thousands of readers while others only get 10 hits per day? It’s because bloggers are perceived as “the authority” in certain subjects. Even though they have similar content, one blogger will draw more traffic. People believe that the other blogger knows more so they will be drawn to them. You can become that kind of blogger by leaving valuable comments on other blogs. Readers will see that you are an authority on the topic.
Not only can blog commenting benefit your website in 3 ways, but backlinks can only be obtained from dofollow blogs. Comment on your niche’s main blogs, even if they are not follow, as there is still a lot to gain in terms of exposure, traffic and authority points. It is believed that commenting on only dofollow blogs is sufficient. Since I don’t believe that, I disagree. I comment for blog exposure and it isn’t limited to any particular type of blog.
